Bartlesville has a new name tag. Over the years, Bartlesville has been labeled as the City of Legends and an Unstoppable community. But on February 1, the city was given a new “brand” at a community-wide kickoff event at the Bartlesville Community Center.
“Bartlesville is a city in transition with great things happening in all sectors of the community…from economic growth, to residential expansion, to ongoing improvements in education, culture, recreation and infrastructure,” said Everett Piper, president of OWU and one of several local leaders who served as resources to the branding team. “It’s obvious that Bartlesville is in a different place than it was just five years ago. Our foundation is stronger and our future is brighter,” said Piper. “While we’re a growing city with a global reach, we nurture a sense of community and enjoy a quality of life that would be the envy of most other cities, large or small.”
